As many as 41 trains under the Lucknow division of railways are likely to remain cancelled till March 3, according to an official release, which added that 25 more services will be diverted while some others will be rescheduled.
The decision has been taken due to the ongoing work of derailment on the Daliganj-Badshahnagar-Gomti Nagar-Malhaur route and also the redevelopment work of Malhour station under the North Eastern Railway (NER).
In a note, NER director of public relations Deepak Kumar said the following order will be in force till March 3 or until the work is completed. “Some trains will remain completely cancelled till March 3 while others will be cancelled on specific days,” the CPRO added.
Lucknow-Patliputra Express, Delhi-Azamgarh Express, Lucknow-Gorakhpur Express are among those cancelled till March 3.
